Sitting down and standing up from the toilet — a movement so ordinary we never think about it. Until the day it becomes hard. For a parent whose legs or knees have lost strength, this everyday moment can turn into a worry, even a fall risk. The Aerolet toilet lift exists for exactly that: to give your loved ones back their independence and dignity in the most private room of the home.
How does the Aerolet work?
The Aerolet supports the body's natural movement to sit and stand, reducing the effort required by up to 75%. In practice, the device does the work of the legs — gently and safely.
It comes in two versions, chosen according to mobility:
The tilting model follows the body's natural forward tilt. It suits people who can still stand but with effort — it preserves muscle activity while making the movement safe.
The vertical model raises and lowers the person in a stable position, without bending. Ideal for stiff hips or knees, wheelchair users, or when independence is declining.
Operation is simple: a button on the armrest, a handheld remote, or a foot control for caregivers. Depending on the model, the Aerolet supports up to 250 kg.
Installed in under an hour, with no building work
One of its biggest strengths: the Aerolet fixes onto the existing toilet bowl — no major works and no drilling that would damage the bathroom. In most cases, installation takes under an hour. It's also compatible with washlets. And if there's no power socket nearby, an optional battery (up to 90 movements) keeps it working, even during a power cut.
The everyday benefits
More independence: getting to the toilet alone, without waiting or asking for help.
More safety: the controlled movement greatly reduces the risk of falling.
Less strain for caregivers: partners, family or care staff are relieved of difficult transfers.
Discreet and comfortable: a design made for a real bathroom, not a hospital.
Reliable and certified: made in the Netherlands, the Aerolet is a certified medical device (MDR), compliant with ISO and TÜV standards, and guaranteed for 5 years.
What about maintenance?
The Aerolet is built for intensive, long-lasting use, with surfaces that are easy to clean day to day. To keep it working perfectly over the years, MPG offers maintenance contracts: our technicians come to you, anywhere in Luxembourg.
